I am excited to return as a Contributor for International Jurist in 2025-26! This will be my fourth consecutive year writing exclusive pieces for the National Jurist’s international and LL.M. audiences.

What’s in Store for 2025-26?

I’ll plan to write six pieces for the International Jurist over the 2025-26 academic year. So expect a piece approximately every other month.

My 2024-25 theme revolved around the place of U.S. law schools in the global competition for LL.M. students. I’m planning a theme that ties together the pieces and thank Beyond Non-JD readers who have already shared their thoughts on what they’re most likely to read. I just posted today and we already have 23 votes.

I’m excited to share the results once finalized.

The History

I started working with the International Jurist in 2022-23 during a year off. I wrote four pieces over the course of the year, starting with one that explained key considerations for LL.B. grads abroad debating the traditional 3-year J.D. or the advanced 2-year J.D. degrees.

When I returned to the U.S. for the 2023-24 year, I continued writing pieces. I focused heavily on the different U.S. law school LL.M. programs. For the third year in 2024-25, I focused on the place of U.S. law schools in the global race for LL.M. students.

Can’t wait for 2025-26. Thanks to my friends at the publication for welcoming me back!
